JPEG Saver config — Splash screen dialog
The “Splash screen options” dialog contains settings for displaying a splash screen before the main images are loaded.
- Enable splash screen
- Minimum time to display splash screen
- Image to display
- Browse for image
- Clear custom image
- Colour to use around image
Enable checkbox
This checkbox enables the splash screen display. All other options on this dialog are disabled when the splash screen is not enabled.
Minimum splash time
This option sets the minimum time that the splash screen will be displayed for. The splash screen is displayed until there is a main image ready to be displayed, so it could remain on the screen much longer.
The minimum time is also how long the splash screen will be displayed by itself before status messages, clocks or any other items are displayed.
Custom image
This input is for the file to use as the splash screen image. When no file is selected here, the built-in JPEG Saver image is displayed as the splash screen.
The image for the splash screen is not processed at all, so no resizing or colour management happens to it before it is displayed on the screen.
Browse for image
Opens a file browser for choosing the splash screen image.
Clear custom image
Clears the image input box, so that the built-in image will be used.
Background colour
This option lets you choose the background colour to be displayed behind the splash screen image if it does not fill the whole screen.
